Wonderful description of that long, sleep and yawn inducing drive.

Makes me think of the times my Dad was driving us across europe on what seemed like a never-ending journey. Only it wasn't cornfields for us, it was damp, foggy, rainy landscapes with mushy meadows and tall poplars lining th road, forever.
