Wonderful piece, Shereena.

I had no knowledge of this plant and I see that among its many benefits, lowering cholesterol maybe included. This is of particular interest to me because, post stroke I am forced to take medications to lower cholesterol, and unfortunately, the side effects are really ugly for me.

I am also fascinated that this tree shares the same benefits as a tree we grow, called SeaBuckthorn. With all parts of the plant edible and a long list of health benefits.
