Wow! If I had a"friend" who did that, I would stop calling her a friend, plus, if a bunch of awful old wrecked clothes showed up, they would go straight to a donation centre - let the chips fall where they might. Let THEM decide what is acceptable or not.

I guess she felt that giving the clothes to you was more acceptable than her having to pitch them out herself.

Sounds like she is a hoarder.
