Tell Ben I totally get his concern about footwear. Post stroke I can no longer wear the elegant shoes and boots of yesteryear. I have been forced to buy and wear old lady slippers, slip on shoes, and, now - old lady winter boots. I HATE it. However, the ever present danger of tripping and falling, keeps me compliant.
