Wow! three. I would be furious.

I love the idea of you writing about this. Excellent!!!

I should have mentioned that the main target for these thieves is high end cars which they then load on to container vessels and sell in Saudi Arabia.

Both of our vehicles are old and probably not much of a target. Mine is 2004 Subaru wagon with assorted dents and a lot of silver tape holding it together. Bruce has a 1998 Audi A4 Quattro. One tiny dent. but not much resale to Saudi Oil kings!!

We however, act totally paranoid. Cars are locked always and kept in the garage when at home.

I find it highly amusing that these new cars, with all the high tech defence and security systems are so easily stolen. However, if you clamp a really low tech thing called a Club to the steering wheel that actually does stop the a-holes in their tracks.

I thought keeping a fake snake in the front seat would be fun. (remember the old Bill Cosby skit about keeping a snake in the apartment as a security device?)
