Wowza! What beautiful shots, Dennett.

It's funny how often we tend to ignore our own areas of interest, instead rocketing around the country or the world in search of something new.

Bruce and I have not, as it happens, felt any regret at not being able to travel - mainly because we like our own area and dislike change. (I know - boring old fuddy duddys).

Of course we have nothing as exotic as that described by your photos, but we do have some areas close by where there are protected wetlands and where local bird, wildlife and native plant varieties can be found and photographed.
