Yes, my physio guys suggested hiking poles. I think I might try them. I tried a walking stick but that didn't work at all.
Unfortunately, the work I like to do (professional gardening) is really physically demanding and has led to numerous injuries in the past, and is really something where one might trip quite easily.
I am super careful. I work out with weights daily and I stretch before doing anything every morning. I am hoping that by actively pursuing remaining flexible and strong, I may be able to avoid serious issues. ;-)
