You are SO right. Tea as a hot beverage is never really properly prepared or served.

It's funny about cofee - I love the aroma, but can't drink it. My hubby is a coffee afficionado and spends ages tweaking and fiddling to get his coffee just right (to the point of actually weighing the ground coffee and the water ...).

I get that. But it is depressing that one can only RARELY get a decently made cup of tea. Once in a while, I have had a lovely pot made at a B and B or at a place actually serving a real English High Tea.

Bravo for addressing this sad lack.
