You do a great job of Connecting, Dennett.

Years ago, - after I had been made redundant at a job that was pretty important to me, and had been taking a special orientation course through one of those places that works with people who have lost their job- I learned a valuable lesson which I apply to both internet and "normal" life. I learned to create a Personal Contact Network.

This has stood me in good stead over the years. I have been able to get jobs through being better connected, made amazing friends though being better connected.

Connections are my lifeblood.

The connections here on Medium have been amazing. Wonderful writers, terrific photographers, great people.

Weeds and wildflowers and Snapshots are my favorite publications here, pretty much the only ones for me.

Thanks to you, inspired by you, I started several of my own. Catness, Petness, Alfew and lastly Wacky Ideas.

The creation of the animal pubs has introduced me to a ton of other animal lovers. Alfew and Wacky ideas are open to guests but were set up mainly for Bruce and I.

I too like to read, applaud and comment on the work of others. I do not always manage to keep up, but I try.

Keep on connecting. Mayb one day we will meet in person, but I already feel that I know you in person.
