Losing a fur friend is so devastating, and yet it is the last gift we can give them. Release.

Each time we have to do it, our hearts break. We always stay with them until the end, there is no other way. They need to know they are with a trusted friend and are greatly loved. The hardest part for me is not allowing myself to break down until they have taken heir last breath. I always want tokeep my deep sadness from them as they pass through the rainbow gates at the bridge.
